Identity theft online past few days I received a couple of emails from two readers of my blog worried of possible identity theft. The newspapers and many websites talking about every day more and more of the crimes perpetrated by hackers

Negli ultimi tempi sembra che sia diventato di moda rubare l'identità virtuale nei
giochi on line . Su diverse piattaforme di giochi on line, cito come esempio
World of Warcraft, Maple Story ,
Lineage ,
Perfect World ,
Guild Wars ,
Farmville (Facebook), Diablo , sono accaduti diversi tentativi di frode importanti.
Proprio come in Second Life, in queste piattaforme la gente crea il proprio personaggio e costruisce intorno ad esso un mondo virtuale detenendo oggetti, case, armature, etc... che vengono rubati e rivenduti on a black market (including through Ebay) is worth gold!
The fear of many residents of Second Life is that this type of fraud to take root even in the popular virtual world. The cyber criminal could steal your account, including passwords and private data and of all inventory items with all of our property. But do not be alarmed
!!!!!! Just protect yourself. But how? The steps that we take to defend against these possible scams are common features which should always be taken when using pc:
- update the operating system and system programs
- have an active antivirus
to date - do not click links not sure that you receive via mail
- not to supply their private information to anyone or just people who know
- set passwords that are difficult to remember (never put dates of birth or dates of events)
- change passwords frequently (eg every month)
- do not use pirated programs or non-conventional
..... As you can see just enough to be safe!
